Odd Man Rush is Slap Shot meets Good Will Hunting with a little Bull Durham thrown in. Based on Bill Keenans' memoir of the same name the film is infused with hockey/sports authenticity rarely seen in film portrayals. The real surprise however is the subtle, heartfelt romance that has a clever wit and power of its own. In hockey an "odd man rush" gives an offense outnumbering defenders a better chance at scoring... indie, rom-com, film lovers will definitely have the scoring advantage watching Odd Man Rush.
