I like these shows. My 3yr old just moved up from his size 8s. I went with a size 10 thinking he would have room to grow into them, it ended up they just fit him perfect. The reason I give them 4 stars and not 5 is that it seems the lace + Velcro style makes them harder to put on my kid. You would think going from 8s to 10s would make slipping these on his feet easy, but it didn't. I still have really work to get them on, but once on his toes have a bit of playing room.I have a 14 month old baby girl. She is wearing a size 4 currently. I am realizing how difficult it is to find stylish sneakers in small sizes. Most toddler girl shoes I find are covered in glitter or silly characters. These sneakers look like real athletic shoes. I love carters shoes shape also because they seem to be wider than other brands. Tots have fat boxy little feet and these are easy to put on and to walk in. I wish carters had more shoes like this for little girls. They don't always have to be dressed as a princess!I needed an extra pair of shoes for my son but did not want to spend as much as i did on the other pairs. after looking everywhere stumbled upon this one by carter's on amazon.the price is great for the quality...size is true and looks cute with his winter jacket which has a fluorescent green strip. So far looks durable...all in all happy with the purchase.My son loves them and the customer service was prompt in getting a 2nd pair sent out to us. We had an issue with the velcro and the white elastic letting loose on one of the shoes. Got the second pair and my son loves them. HE WON'T TAKE THEM OFF.My son really likes his shoes tight so for us it was the perfect buy. I can imagine that if your child had a wider foot you'd want to order a bigger size.This is cute shoes, however it run small. So, order one size up is the best idea! My son is really loves it! Five star for this product because is good price!My son has very narrow feet and he had a little bit of an issue getting his feet in these shoes. I'm hoping that they stretch over time.My son is currently in a sz 10 so I ordered a sz 11 and his toes are to the end. Otherwise they are really nice sneakers!
