I was thrilled when Chris let some of his reader fans in on a secret, and that secret was an early release of this his newest book, A Rush to Violence. Beginning with his Bullied series I was hooked on his imagination in the story of Seth. By revealing that some of what he wrote was from his personal experiences I was even more blown away. The next books only increased my admiration of his different writing styles. As someone who has never been to New York I actually could imagine the city the way he drew the picture of it for me. With Rush to Violence once again I'm drawn into NYC feeling its grittiness and beauty. All of the characters in this book are described in a way that make you feel like you might know them, or someone like them, which doesn't mean they are all good people- they aren't! Private Detective Marty is definately a guy's guy- women love him, and guys want to *be* him. With his family and friends in danger (due to being hired by some really bad characters to find someone they want to "take out"), he searches for them with the assistance of his wife Jennifer, who is an investigational journalist. The two of them form a formidable team and will not stop until they find their family and friends and are safe and the mission, that he was hired to do, is complete. A page turner, a great read, a heart stopping ride,a thriller, and a RUSH! This book is not to be missed but..... be prepared to stay up all night to finish it as I did!! Great job Chris and I am looking forward the the next book release in July! Thank you, thank you, thank you :)
